Best Face Toners August 2018

I have tried many different toners and I feel that finding the right toner is one of the hardest products to get right. Everyone has different skin issues and needs. I have sensitive acne prone skin and I find it difficult to find a product that does what I need it to do, help keep my acne away, without over drying my skin. There are so many different products with so many different ingredients, it can be very overwhelming to decide which product is best for you. My favourite 2 toners are:

1) Caudalie Moisturizing Toning (200ml for $34 CDN on sephora.ca or caudalie.com) This toner is very soothing and actually helps moisturize the skin compared with other toners that strip the skin of all oils leaving the skin extra dry. This toner helps relieve dryness, remove any residue left behind after cleansing and even hydrates the skin. The best part....its even safe to use on your eyes, it doesn't burn! 👍🏽

2) Clinique Clarifying Lotion (1,2,3,4) helps fight breakouts (but make sure to get the right number for your skin type otherwise it can over dry your skin) I was using number 3 when I first started using the clique 3 step system (which I actually really enjoyed) after using it for about 4 months the toner began to over dry my skin. My skin would feel very dry and tight because the toner was stripping my skin of the oils it needed as well as any residue I wanted to get rid of. I later went in and spoke to one of the lovely ladies working at the Clinique counter near me and she told me to switch to the number 2 toner and that worked perfectly. (A full review of the 3 step system will be up later next week)
